Duties and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a helpful, reliable team member to support our classroom team in a hands-on, practical way. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things organised and wants to make a difference by supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and tidying away after classroom activities

Keeping the learning space clean, safe, and well-organised
-
Supporting staff in preparing materials for lessons and activities

Helping with basic tasks during hands-on sessions like cooking, crafts, or life skills

Being a friendly and calming presence in the classroom

Following simple routines to support the smooth running of the day

Supporting the overall wellbeing and safety of students (with training provided)
Experience and Skills
Essential experience working:
As a Teaching Assistant or similar post
With children and young people with SEN
With Safeguarding procedures
Of lone working in the community and schools
Preferred Experience:
Hold a current teaching assistant qualification or be willing to work towards one
Strong verbal and written commination skills
