At Futures, our students sit at the heart of everything we do.

We strongly believe that our young people deserve the best opportunities in life and education, and we sit in the unique position to be able to offer this. Providing an inclusive, trauma-informed education for all our young people underpins the values we hold here at Futures.

We are very proud of our small community and recognise the important role we play in supporting our students to re-engage with learning, make friends, express difficult feelings safely and prepare for the next stages of their education or adult life. Many of our students have had a difficult and challenging start to education, so it is important to ensure that as a provision we understand, are flexible and compassionate about every young person we work with.

All our students are seen and known as individuals. Within our safe and nurturing environment, flexible education and development of social and emotional skills. Our curriculum is diverse and flexible to ensure we meet the needs of each individual student. We encourage every student to be creative, reflective and as independent as possible so that they can learn and flourish. We aim to ensure that all we do will have a positive impact upon their future life.

All our staff members are trained in trauma, attachment, SEN and therapeutic language frameworks to support our students. This truly makes for individualised, supportive and engaging educational experiences for our young people. Our students develop and strengthen their sense of self-esteem and gain their education in small class settings with qualified practitioners and highly trained staff. High-quality education in our trauma informed setting is based on strong partnerships between home, education and relevant professionals. Our compassionate staff team are committed to every student achieving and work closely with parents and carers to make sure that our young people are happy, safe and that they are achieving success in all areas of their journey with us.
